Research
Research abstracts must report completed heart failure studies.

Clinical Innovations
Clinical abstracts should be a summary or documentary of creative or novel clinical advances in the care and/or management of patients with heart failure.

Oral Abstract Competition - Travel Awards

The AAHFN will grant a limited number of travel awards to the top research abstracts that are entered into the Oral Abstract Competition.

Awardees will be selected from the pool of eligible applicants based upon the abstract's degree of excellence as determined by the AAHFN Research Committee and the author's oral presentation during the Oral Abstract Competition. Six finalists will be chosen by the Research Committee to compete in the Oral Abstract Competition.

Note: Award recipients from the 2006 - 2008 Annual Meetings are not eligible for the 2009 Oral Abstract Competition. Finalist from the 2006 - 2008 Annual Meetings, who did not win an award, are eligible to apply for the 2009 Oral Abstract Competition.

AAHFN makes submitting your abstract easy and fast. Simply type or copy/paste your abstract online and submit it through the web.

Submitting an abstract to the 2009 Annual Meeting means that it will be peer reviewed and may be accepted for either an oral presentation or poster presentation.

  • You may submit as many abstracts as you want.
  • AAHFN welcomes abstracts previously submitted to other national or international meetings.
  • There are no paper submissions.
